Royal Palm Village Wine & Tapas was established in 2011. Kori Blacker Tafoya always aspired to be a restaurateur, with years of experience in wine sales, restaurant management, and service. David Joudi of Riverside Liquors was looking to open a second retail store at the beaches. They focused on providing unmatched customer service and expertise in the wine industry while seeking to create a community that brings people together. Inspired by European travel they sought to create an atmosphere that provides a transcendent experience. This would not be possible without a talented chef to make their dreams a reality. In 2011 Chef Chris Robert joined their team.
